客家戲形塑歷程及其藝術內涵轉變研究

廿一世紀的客家戲,在語言和文化政策的推動下,活動範圍除了民間酬神廟會演出的外臺民戲,另有文化性公演以及電視戲曲節目錄製的機會,而戲曲人才培育也已正式納入教育體制之中,發展現況相較於客家戲在之前各時期的藝術內涵,客家戲在當代的藝術表現已不僅是大眾對戲劇娛樂的追求,更是客家族群符號的文化表徵。當代客家戲的各項活動,皆與政府所實施的文化政策息息相關,透過客家戲演進歷程的觀察,更不應忽視政治社會脈絡對客家戲生態的深刻影響,而這些影響也著實改變了客家戲在各個階段的藝術內涵。引發筆者思考的是,面對不斷在動態流變的劇種內涵,其藝術特徵及價值是如何被形塑建構出來的?劇種深受政治社會脈絡影響,大眾對劇種的認知,是否也間接被當今政治賦予的文化概念所影響?本文透過客家戲形塑歷程研究,以橫向視角探究客家戲在不同時期的社會政治脈絡下,作用於藝術內涵轉變的各項因素及可能,亦欲藉此觀察客家戲在文化互動過程中的動態性,體現筆者對客家戲在當代表現的關懷。
In the 21st century, Hakka Opera, driven by language and cultural policies, has a scope of activities in addition to the Taiwanese outdoor opera performed at temple fairs, as well as opportunities for cultural performances and the recording of TV opera programs. The cultivation of opera talents has also been officially incorporated into the education system. Compared with the artistic connotation of Hakka opera in previous periods, the contemporary artistic expression of Hakka opera is not only the public's pursuit of theatrical entertainment but also a cultural representation of the Hakka origin.
Various activities in contemporary Hakka opera are closely related to the cultural policies implemented by the government. Observing the evolution of Hakka opera, the profound influence of the political and social context on Hakka opera should not be ignored. These influences have also changed the Hakka opera at every stage. The researcher considered that with the constantly changing connotations of dramas, how are their artistic features and values shaped and constructed? Moreover, political and social contexts deeply influence drama genres, do cultural concepts in today’s politics indirectly influence the public’s cognition of drama genres?
This thesis explores the developing formation history of Hakka Opera with various factors and possibilities for transforming the artistic connotation of Hakka Opera under the socio-political contexts of different periods in a horizontal perspective. Also, it intends to observe the dynamics of Hakka Opera in the process of cultural interaction; and reflects the research’s profound interest in the contemporary performance of Hakka opera.
