At the beginning of petting my dog, BongBong, I meet Turid Rugaas's methodology of living with dogs. As one way of dog training method, in fact, has very little "training" part, but is more like teaching human beings, a kinder and gentler way of living with your dog.

Put down your demands, understand the expression of his body and voice, Observe its spontaneous behavior, interpret it as much as possible, and verify it in detail, take care of its needs, when his behavior confronted with our will, reflect on what we want it to change and whether there is anything we can change; knowing how to accompany and assist it when it is confused and restless. In this way of thinking, The so-called "behavioral problem" is more likely just their dog's body, lost in human society.

Such a living, thoughtful and open methodology, made me read Baptiste Morizot’s book
"ways of being alive",There is a reference that can be substituted, and because of the surprise and enthusiasm in his writing, I am eager to share my own path of alienation, but the same path of return. Animals what Morizot trace are mainly wolves, and my enlightenment is my deeply connected dogs. They shows another way of life to me. To know them better, I always imagine myself as a dog, by learning more about dogs, and therefore have more diverse ideas and senses.

This study will follow the path of Morizot’s book "ways of being alive", start from the author's personal experience and theories, trying to explain that how companion animals touched us, and how the ethics dialetics trigger from this kind of relationship. How can we find back the sensibility and imagination, even find the potential of wider concerning by companion animals?
